All of this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop- and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it began to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids I've test.
It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only issue is that it's pricey. But its abundance of features makes it a appealing alternative for anyone who wishes to go away from their old stick vacuums and mops. If you are able to justify the price, we highly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combination. The premium price is justified by the powerful features, such as a huge vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that rotate. The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance compared to the other hybrid mop I tried. Additionally, its mops aren't as capable at scrubbing away stubborn stains as those found in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned, and the water and dust tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads that are sold separately also require changing regularly.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're on a budget I suggest a more basic model that lets you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to remember that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can purchase however, its cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a desire rather than a requirement.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that will pick up dirt and dust on your hard floors while taking care of wet mess, then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered robovac and mop combo packs a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity to power both mowing and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle avoidance. It has a mop with a roller that is self-cleaning and makes it stand out among other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot, and it receives a constant supply of fresh water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. While it spins the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked by the heater elements of the tank and empty into a larger storage container. The onboard tank is able to hold a large amount of water, and can handle up to a half dozen mopping session before running out.
Like many robot vacuums and mop combinations, the S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, but this is a simple task in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you choose this feature however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning solutions.
As with most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. robot vacuum cleaner uk got stuck on carpets with larger piles several times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers a lot of functionality at a reasonable cost.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, and it still has some amazing features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, washing and sanitizing the mop pads as they go. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a good bit of an area before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's high suction does a nice job of picking up debris and pet hair from carpets.
The application that runs this appliance is fairly dense, offering a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start an entire map and clean of everything that the device maps, or you can select specific rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've set up. There are many mopping options that include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors of the mops to determine the most efficient method to tidy your home as it maps the area.
Like all the Roborock models we've evaluated, the Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system works well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in an organized way. The default pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, with no gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well, however it's not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers like thick carpets but it might not always recognize smaller things like rug tassels, or electrical wires.
The most obvious flaw with this model is the absence of a mop after vacuum option, which could be a problem for people who are frequently vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. There's a simple solution: the app offers a feature that allows you to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. You can make use of the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and traces that were left behind after vacuuming.
